Man found dead in vehicle following Roanoke shooting

Roanoke, Virginia – As per recent reports, a fatal shooting occurred in Roanoke during the early hours of Saturday, resulting in the death of one man, as confirmed by the local law enforcement.

Around 2:30 in the morning, the Roanoke Police received a notification from the City of Roanoke E-911 Center. The report detailed an incident of gunfire near 5th Street and Harrison Avenue NW.

On their arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive male in a vehicle situated in the 600 block of Harrison Avenue NW. The man seemed to have suffered a severe gunshot wound. The Roanoke Fire-EMS team arrived shortly after and officially declared the man deceased at the scene.
