Man hospitalized after Southwest Roanoke shooting
Roanoke, Virginia – In Southwest Roanoke, a man was taken to the hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound, as reported by the Roanoke Police Department.
The incident, which occurred on April 27 at approximately 4:50 p.m., was brought to the attention of the City of Roanoke E-911 Center, who quickly informed the RPD of the situation.
Upon arriving at the location, officers discovered the victim with an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was promptly taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for medical care by the Roanoke Fire-EMS team.
